Friday Sketchers #17

This week on Friday Sketchers it's the turn of the wonderful Claudia representing the USA to set the sketch.

Tilda has been coloured with Promarkers and various Sakura pens. The background paper is from Designer Digitals, ribbon from Hobbycraft and sentiments are from the Autumn Leaves "Ticketed" set. The flowers are Prima with Swarowski gems in the centre. Thanks for looking.

Stamp with Sarah Kay #9

A great sketch this week done by Katharina from Stamp with Sarah Kay. I have coloured this gorgeous Sarah Kay stamp with Promarkers and Sakura pens and blended around the edges with chalk. Papers are K&Co. McKenna and sentiment is Cuddly Buddly mounted onto glitter card. Thanks for looking.

Cute Card Thursday #25 - In the Water

There's another amazing prize this week from Cute Card Thursday donated by Alota Stamps. Helene has set the theme of "In the Water" and as always a little flexibility is allowed in the theme, it can be in, on or beside water and the water can even be frozen i.e. snow or ice! Pop on over to the blog to see the amazing creations from the DT.

This beautiful stamp is from Joanna Sheen and I have water-coloured it with pencils and Twinkling H20's. Background paper is Basic Grey and the sentiment is a Craftwork Cards "Oh My Word" sentiment which I coloured with pigment ink and then triple embossed with clear EP for that dome sticker look. Thanks for looking.

Tilda & Friends ATC Challenges - August Seasons Theme

I had thought about showing all four Seasons ATCs together and a post from Jacqui today reminded me! There will be a new look to Tilda & Friends ATC Challenges from next week and a couple of changes so pop back on Wednesday for all the news!

Tilda & Friends ATC Challenges - August Seasons Theme

It's the last week of our month-long challenge theme of "Seasons" on Tilda & Friends ATC Challenges.

This is my Winter ATC. Tilda has been coloured with Promarkers and Sakura pens. The background is red pearl card, stripy paper from a Dovecraft Christmas pack and ribbon from a craft fair ages ago. I made the little embellishment out of 3 leaf brads and 3 plain small red brads.

A Spoonful of Sugar #14 - Different Ribbons

This week the challenge from A Spoonful of Sugar is to use 3 different ribbons.

This is "Kyle with Daisy" and he's been coloured with Promarkers and Sakura pens. I really love these Cuddly Buddly characters - they are so cute! The sentiment is Cuddly Buddly too and I used Sparkle and Sprinkle EP in Marmalade. Paper is from K&Co Hopscotch Boy 6x6 paper pad, flowers from Scrap Fairies and ribbon from my stash. Thanks for looking.

Friday Sketchers #16

It's Carole from England's turn to set the sketch this week on Friday Sketchers and it's fabby!

I am in a different mood this last couple of days and have gone for a boys card today! The image is by Personal Impressions and it's been coloured with Polychromos pencils, Sakura stardust pens and Twinkling H20's. I love the little guy peering out of the spaceship window. Backing paper is K&Co Kazoo Kids, as is the chipboard sentiment and I have mounted them onto silver star holographic card. The star is actually a Christmas tag which I coloured with blue and silver Brilliance before stamping and embossing this Hobby Art stamp over the top and finishing with some Memory Thread and punched blue stars. Thanks for looking.

Gothic Arches - Black, White and a Hint of Red

The hostess this week on Gothic Arches is Chrissy Rollins and Chrissy has selected the theme of "Black, White and a Hint of Red". Fabulous! I had such fun creating this arch with alcohol inks and Promarkers. The sentiment was printed out on the computer and inked with pigment ink. Doesn't she look a minx?!

This week Gothic Arches is celebrating it's first birthday so happy birthday to you and thanks to Nancy for this fun challenge!

Birthday Somethings & Daring Cardmakers "This Way"

The theme this week from Daring Cardmakers is "This Way" and they want you to use arrows on your card whereas Stamp Something have set a challenge to make a "Birthday Something" this week!

I needed to make DH's brother's 40th birthday card for next month and have been wanting to have a go at one of these Joy Fold Cards for a while after seeing a forum member's version on the Stamping Mad Craft Forum. The instructions came from Split Coast Stampers here. A really unusual looking card but very easy to make. I just altered mine slightly in that I cut double size for the base card and folded it in half so the finished item would stand up like a standard card.

The Magnolia "Cool Edwin" stamp has been coloured with Polychromos Pencils and Sansodor and I have gone over his jacket and shoes with clear Sakura Gel Pen to give them a shine. The papers were free with Crafts Beautiful months ago. The curved arrows are brads and I have added ribbon, gems and Sakura Stardust accents to punched stars to finish it off. Thanks for looking.
